I had a frustrating experience. I called looking for a new auto insurance company. My policy was up for renewal in a couple of weeks. Candace told me they would only accept my application if I included homeowners. OK - a little off-putting but I could do that. Then I was referred to a detailed online form for which I had to look up a bunch of things to complete. Took me two days to get that done. Then I didn't hear back from Candace. I emailed after the weekend wondering where we were in the process. She told me she had left a voice mail and the form was incomplete. I could find no voice mail. I also told her the form should be programmed to let me know that there was required information that was missing. Too many hoops here to jump through--this doesn't feel like a customer-friendly operation. I found a different agent who understood my now shortened time frame, took my information in a 15-minute phone call, and had my new policy before the day was over.
I'll give them two stars because I have no experience with their claims-handling, which may be fine.
