I had a frustrating experience. I called looking for a new auto insurance company. My policy was up for renewal in a couple of weeks. Candace told me they would only accept my application if I included homeowners. OK - a little off-putting but I could do that. Then I was referred to a detailed online form for which I had to look up a bunch of things to complete. Took me two days to get that done. Then I didn't hear back from Candace. I emailed after the weekend wondering where we were in the process. She told me she had left a voice mail and the form was incomplete. I could find no voice mail. I also told her the form should be programmed to let me know that there was required information that was missing. Too many hoops here to jump through--this doesn't feel like a customer-friendly operation. I found a different agent who understood my now shortened time frame, took my information in a 15-minute phone call, and had my new policy before the day was over.
I'll give them two stars because I have no experience with their claims-handling, which may be fine.

I did a search looking for an Auto Owners Ins agent and found Imes Insurance. I called anticipating an automated answer. I was pleasantly surprised when Candice answered on the first ring! She took the time in that call to get the information she needed from me. Following communication was excellent. I am set up with the bundled coverage I need that fit my budget.

Our family has used Imes Insurance for about 20 years. Perry Imes is committed to providing the correct coverage needed for your situation. Linda, who I work with with some regularity, is just wonderful, receptive, and immensely helpful. When on occasion something happens, like a leak in your home, they will be there to make sure you get what you need in a timely fashion. Insurance without an agency, in my opinion, is not the same when you need it!

Imes has taken care of insurance for us on a number of rentals for many years and we've been happy with them. So far, no claims, so I can't speak to that aspect.
