Perry is the founding agent and Principal of Imes Insurance Associates. Born in Tucson, Arizona, he grew up in Nevada. He returned to Arizona and attended each of the states’ three universities. He obtained his B.S. in Justice Studies from Arizona State University and completed most his course work for a master’s in Public Administration. He also attended Whittier College School of Law in California.
Before pursuing a career in insurance, he worked for a number of local law firms and Maricopa County Superior Court in Phoenix. His experience in the legal field strongly influences his attitude regarding the insurance industry and advocacy for clients’ needs and appropriate coverage.
He started his insurance career with American Family Insurance before opening an independent insurance agency. He’s been active in the industry and has obtained his LUTCF and Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designations. He is currently working on his Risk Management designation.
Perry is actively involved with his family and volunteers with his church and the Arizona Foster Care System. He and his wife Melinda are adoptive parents of their son Danny, who’s a 2013 graduate of The Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University. Perry has always enjoyed time with his family (and always included two dogs), outdoor activities, travel, exercise and motorcycling.
